Autoocupació continues its collaboration with “Traçant camins”

Last monday, Autoocupació held a workshop of awareness within the program Traçant camins, a project promoted by the Comissió Catalana d’Ajuda als Refugiats (CCAR), with the objective of promoting meetings between refugees and companies of different sectors and promote their incorporation into the labor market.

The workshop, which was held at the Oficina Jove de Calàbria located in the city of Barcelona, ​​wanted to bring self-employment closer to the participants explaining the behaviour of this kind of emplyment, as well as the advantages and challenges it entails.

Apart from Traçant camins, CCAR promotes different initiatives that offer support for migrants and refugees in fields such as employment, legal advice, training or offering and promoting social programs, knowledge of leisure and the environment and interpreting services , always from the defense of the right of asylum and the social inclusion of refugees and migrants in Catalonia.

This has been the 3rd workshop where Autoocupació has participated, that is why it is expected to give continuity to the collaboration in the project.
