  • The initiative of Cecot and Autoocuapció is one of the four European finalists in the category that awards initiatives to improve the business environment in Europe.
  • The European winner will be announced on November 23 during the SME Assembly to be held in the Estonian capital.

Reempresa is the national winner and one of the finalist initiatives to the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) organized annually by the European Commission. Specifically, Reempresa is part of the category that rewards initiatives that aim to improve the business environment. This year, in addition to Reempresa, there are three projects competing for the European title in this category.

The European Enterprise Promotion Awards aim to give recognition to successful initiatives that have contributed to the promotion of business and entrepreneurship. Antoni Abad, president of Cecot and president of Reempresa, considers that this recognition “puts in value the contribution of Reempresa as an innovative policy in favour of the small and medium enterprises” and “its contribution to the safeguard of the business of the country and in the fight against unemployment “.

Albert Colomer, director of tReempresa, wanted to highlight that “Reempresa is the result of a coordinated task of hundreds of institutions and people willing to work together to give an active response to the problem of generational change in our country.”

The jury of the EEPA awards, formed by eight representatives of different sectors and professions, has met during this week in Brussels to decide which state winners will be chosen to advance to the final round. Reempresa, then, has passed this stage and will share the category with three finalist projects than a total of 8. The European winner of each category will be revealed at the ceremony of delivery of the EEPA prizes during the Assembly of SME on November 23 in Tallinn, Estonia.

On this occasion, 305 candidatures have been received from 32 different countries. Out of this total, the coordinators of each state have selected the 56 best projects for the final, from which the four finalists have been chosen.
