Autoocupació, ambassador for The Better Entrepreneurship Policy Tool

Autoocupació, through its director, Guillem Arís, has been selected by the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities as an ambassador to promote The Better Entrepreneurship Policy Tool. The Better Entrepreneurship Policy Tool, developed by the OECD and the European Commission, is an online self-assessment and learning tool for individuals and institutions involved in the design and implementation of inclusive and social entrepreneurship policies and programs. The role of Autoocupació is to support local, regional, national, and international intermediary organizations, policymakers, researchers, and other relevant stakeholders in conducting a self-assessment of inclusive and/or social entrepreneurship support measures and policies, and in organic workshops to introduce them to the tool. Inclusive entrepreneurship includes youth, women, migrants, and the long-term unemployed. The Better Entrepreneurship Policy Tool:
  • Stimulates reflection on inclusive and social entrepreneurship policies and programs
  • Encourages learning through international best practices
  • Improves the design and implementation of inclusive and social entrepreneurship policies
  • Targets a wide variety of stakeholders, such as policymakers, business associations and networks, chambers of commerce, financial providers, research institutions, education and training providers, and civil society organizations
  • Operates in 24 languages
