European Microfinance Day 2025

29 April 2025

On May 22, the Palau Macaya in Barcelona will host the final event of the European Microfinance Day 2025 campaign, organized by the European Microfinance Network (EMN), MicroBank, and Autoocupació.

The European Microfinance Network is the leading European network in the field of microfinance and inclusive entrepreneurship. Every year, with the support of the European Commission, it organizes this campaign to promote and highlight the potential of microfinance to create economic activity and employment in our communities and to generate a global impact.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about this growing sector, its best practices, and its main stakeholders in Catalonia, Spain, and Europe. The event will feature, among others, representatives from the EMN, major European institutions, leading microfinance institutions in Europe and Spain, and entrepreneurs who have benefited from microcredits. The event will provide simultaneous translation.
