Grants for digital transformation and sustainability in the fashion industry

The Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion of Catalonia publishes three lines of grants aimed at boosting businesses in Catalonia in different areas: retail, crafts, and fashion. Within the fashion sector, there are two different programs: the program for the digital transformation of the fashion industry and the program for improving the degree of sustainability and circularity of Catalan fashion brands.

Program for the digital transformation of the fashion industry

It aims to foster the competitiveness of fashion sector companies in Catalonia by supporting digital transformation to increase competitiveness in the design, manufacturing, marketing, and promotion of their products and brands. Eligible actions
  • Audits and implementation of cybersecurity tools (as well as the purchase of systems and tools for their application).
  • Application of inventory control and management systems, for connection with suppliers and customers.
  • Purchase and installation of systems for technological sales, creation of an e-commerce.
  • Improvement of direct online sales channels
  • Application of digital solutions in predictive marketing and artificial intelligence.
  • Hiring of consultants and experts in the application of digital solutions
  • Hiring of consultants and experts for study, advisory, and consulting work for the presentation of dossiers by companies wishing to apply for European and state funds

Program for improving the degree of sustainability and circularity of Catalan fashion brands

It aims to foster the competitiveness of fashion companies by supporting the incorporation of sustainable processes, tools, and materials that improve the circularity of their products, as well as the recovery and recycling of waste generated by their activity. Type of eligible actions Consultancy, advice, auditing, certifications, and implementation in the areas of:
  • Reduction of environmental impact (CO2 footprint, water footprint, etc.)
  • Traceability and transparency
  • Circular economy
  • Energy efficiency
  • Logistics
  • Inventory management
  • Waste generation
