Grants of up to €3,000 for new self-employed individuals

A new grant scheme, Activa Autòno+, is being launched to alleviate the burden of expenses that self-employed individuals must bear during their first year of activity. The amount of the grant will be calculated based on the justified expenses at the time of application, up to a maximum of €3,000.

Who can apply?

This grant is aimed at all residents of Barcelona who have started a new economic activity as self-employed workers or as new members of worker cooperatives. These individuals must meet the following requirements:
  • Must have started a new economic activity after October 1, 2021.
  • Must have been registered in the city of Barcelona before the tax registration.
  • Must have been unemployed prior to starting the activity.

What expenses does it cover?

  • Expenses associated with taxes
  • Management and/or advisory expenses
  • Expenses derived from energy consumption
  • Lease expenses associated with premises or services offered by co-working establishments

Deadlines and application
