On November 27, the Board of Trustees of the Private Foundation for the Promotion of Self-Employment in Catalonia appointed Guillem Arís as the new director of Autoocupació. After a 23-year career working at Autoocupació as a coordinator, Arís highlighted the Foundation’s 30-year history, which has led it to become a leading organization in the sector: “Autoocupació has the best team and the best services to help people be what they want to be.”
“We must keep evolving to continue being an effective tool for social transformation.”
Guillem Arís takes on the challenge of leading the Foundation in a changing environment characterized by new ways of entrepreneurship and new models of labor relations and organization, and is well aware that “we must keep evolving to continue being an effective tool for social transformation.” This new appointment follows the recent changes to the Autoocupació Board of Trustees and the appointment of Albert Colomer as president of the Foundation, a new stage that the Foundation undertakes with the goal of taking self-employment to a new level.
