New edition of the iFest Awards 2024

12 March 2024

The iFest Awards aim to foster the entrepreneurial spirit and disruption among young people in Catalonia. These awards seek to provide solutions to challenges posed by private and public companies. These challenges are linked to the technology, science, or innovation sectors and aim to contribute to the improvement of society.

Beneficiaries

The individuals targeted by this award are divided into two categories:
  • Junior Category: underage youth, students in Catalonia from the second cycle of ESO, Baccalaureate, or Vocational Training
  • Senior Category: young people aged 18 to 30, students and/or entrepreneurs

Participation

Participants must be between 15 and 30 years old and must follow these steps:
  • Form a team of 2 or 3 members
  • Choose one of the challenges proposed by companies (Senior category participants can undertake a “free challenge” and present a project already underway)
  • Create a video to present the proposed solution and a brief description of the project
  • Fill out the application form

Award and Deadlines

For the Junior category, the award consists of participation in a pre-acceleration and disruptive innovation program in Catalonia. On the other hand, in the Senior category, the award is the same, but the program will take place abroad. The deadline opens on March 8 and closes on March 31, 2024. If you need help with the application process, send us an email at info@autoocupacio.org or call us at 93 490 88 60.
