New Grant for Cultural Projects

28 February 2024

A new call for grants is opening to provide support for cultural projects in the fields of performing arts, visual arts, editorial, recording, and musical arts. This aid can be provided through a repayable contribution or a grant.

Requirements

The general requirements are:
  • The project must have a defined timeframe
  • The project must be economically identifiable and distinguishable within the company’s activity
Each artistic field also has its own requirements: In the editorial field, the aid is intended for unique editorial projects. This implies that productions must be luxury works, bibliophile editions, limited editions, etc. Additionally, the price of the individual or combined title must exceed 100 euros. In the fields of performing arts (theatre, circus, and dance), the editorial, and recording industries, aid can only be requested for production. In the musical field, however, aid can be requested for both production and exploitation.

Amount and Deadlines

Companies can choose to apply only for the repayable contribution modality or for both for the same project, but they cannot apply only for the “grant” modality. Regarding the repayable contribution, 100% of the amount must be reimbursed. Regarding the grant modality, it will be calculated based on the income obtained from the exploitation of the product. The deadline opens on February 14 and closes on October 31, 2024. If you need help with the application process, send us an email at info@autoocupacio.org or call us at 93 490 88 60.
