New grants to boost craftsmanship

The Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion of Catalonia publishes three lines of grants aimed at boosting businesses in Catalonia in different areas: retail, craftsmanship, and fashion. Within the field of craftsmanship, there are two different programs: the program for the growth of craft activity and the program to support municipalities in the field of craftsmanship.  

Program for the growth of craft activity

It aims to support digital transformation, internationalization, and commercialization, as well as to strengthen the structure of craft businesses. Amount and deadlines Up to 50% of eligible actions are subsidized, with a total maximum of €2,500. The grant can be applied for until July 19, 2023.  

Program to support municipalities in the field of craftsmanship

It aims to promote the establishment of craft businesses in municipalities and to enhance the prestige of craft fairs and markets in Catalonia, to boost economic activity and employment in the area. Amount and deadlines Up to 50% of eligible actions are subsidized, with a total maximum of €6,000.
