Pilar Moliné, entrepreneur from Becadvisor, finalist in the “Most Competent Entrepreneur” competition

27 September 2019

The finalists were selected from more than 1,000 participants who, since September 2016, have taken part in the entrepreneurial skills training workshops, #Compe10ciasLED, a training program for developing the skills necessary to succeed in entrepreneurship launched by the Endesa Foundation together with the Youth Business Spain Foundation, the benchmark in youth self-employment. In Catalonia, the training is delivered through Autoocupació, the Local Partner of Youth Business Spain in the region. Pilar Moliné is one of the finalists in the competition with the Becadvisor project, a web platform that connects students and companies looking for university interns and offers companies the opportunity to improve their operations through student feedback. She will attend the final, held at Endesa’s headquarters in Madrid, alongside 9 other finalists from different regions across Spain. There, she will present her project to a jury of entrepreneurship specialists, who will select the “Most Competent Entrepreneur.” The winner will present their project at the South Summit, the leading global innovation platform focused on business opportunities that brings together the main players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and will receive a €1,500 cash prize to invest in their business.
Information about the Compe10ciasLED program Compe10ciasLED aims to train young people between 18 and 35 who have a business project in competencies or soft skills, supporting them to start their business with fewer risks. It is based on a “learning by doing” methodology, with experiential dynamics where the participant is the protagonist. Endesa Foundation has been supporting this project developed by Youth Business Spain for three years, from the creation and development of materials to the training of Youth Business Spain facilitators throughout Spain. This support has allowed 1,000 young Spaniards to participate to date in the #Compe10ciasLED workshops, “the 10 competencies for successful entrepreneurship.” More than 2,300 hours of training in 40-hour workshops that represent a change for the young participants, who test their skills and define what they want to change and how they are going to do it through group reflection and a personal action plan. The results support this project: the young people who have taken part in the #Compe10ciasLED workshops have created, to date, 288 businesses and 467 jobs.
