Eligible entities

The following may be beneficiaries of these grants: Individuals who create a micro-enterprise on an individual basis, or who acquire a micro-enterprise through a business transfer, provided that at least their own job is created and they have not been registered as self-employed in the same activity as the new micro-enterprise for which the grant is requested within the last three years in the Leader territorial area. Legal entities and non-agricultural cooperatives, provided that, in the case of non-cooperative companies, one of the partners assumes at least 50% of the risks, civil, fiscal, and social responsibilities, and management. In the case of legal entities, the company must meet the requirement of being a micro-enterprise in accordance with Recommendation 2003/361/EC of May 6.

Funding

A total of €2,000,000 has been budgeted, which will be distributed among 11 Leader Local Action Groups.
