If you are between 18 and 29 years old and want to start your own business, the Youth Guarantee grant can help turn your entrepreneurial project into reality. This financial aid is designed to support young people entering the labour market through self-employment by providing funding for both the start-up of their business and the maintenance of their self-employed status for a minimum of 18 months
Who Can Apply?
Young people who meet the following requirements are eligible:
- Be between 18 and 29 years old, inclusive.
- Be registered with the Youth Guarantee Programme on the day before starting their business activity.
- Have started a self-employed activity between 23 September 2025 and the date the application is submitted.
- Not have received this same grant in previous calls.
- Complete at least 6 hours of business management training or support.
The grant is divided into two categories:
- Category 1: For businesses with their tax address or workplace located in a municipality with fewer than 500 inhabitants.
- Category 2: For businesses operating in the rest of Catalonia.
How Much Funding Can You Receive?
The amount awarded depends on how long you remain registered as self-employed:
- 12 months: €11,452.98
- 15 months: €14,529.90
- 18 months: €17,094.00 (maximum amount)
Please note that no grant will be awarded if the self-employed activity is maintained for less than 12 months. In addition, if the available budget is insufficient, the amount granted may be reduced proportionally by up to 10%.
Key Deadlines
The main deadlines for this call are:
- Application period: From 28 July 2026 at 9:00 a.m. until 22 September 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
- Activity maintenance period: 18 months from the start date of the activity.
- Supporting documentation: Must be submitted within one month following the end of the implementation period.
- Decision period: Up to six months from the publication of the call.
- Administrative silence: Applications are considered rejected if no decision is issued within the established period.
