Requirements
Completion of compulsory secondary education (ESO) is required, or passing a level assessment test.

What you will learn

  • Understand the foundations of feminism and the intersectional perspective applied to affective, gender, cultural, ethnic, and functional diversity.
  • Analyze roles, stereotypes, gender-based violence, LGBTQ+ phobia, and discrimination based on culture or religion.
  • Identify and apply tools for incorporating intersectionality into projects, actions, and approaches.
  • Develop a critical perspective, self-reflection, and social awareness to foster inclusive and transformative practices.

Course Objectives

This course will allow you to understand the fundamentals of feminism and the intersectional perspective, analyzing affective, gender, cultural, origin and functional diversity, applying this knowledge in projects and actions that promote inclusion and equity.

Content Plan

Intersectional perspective
Learn the theoretical and methodological foundations for analysing how different forms of oppression and privilege intersect in diverse contexts.

Affective and gender diversity
Explore key concepts, stereotypes, gender construction, gender-based violence and LGTBI-phobia.

Cultural, origin-related and religious diversity
Analyse racism, prejudice, privilege and interculturality.

Practical application
It provides tools to integrate intersectionality into projects and actions with a critical, inclusive, and transformative perspective.
