- Individuals registered in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers or the Social Security self-employment scheme (RETA), or in a mutual insurance company as an alternative system to RETA, who carry out their economic activity as natural persons. They may not apply for the grant when the total number of self-employed workers, including collaborating self-employed workers, and employees of the business unit is greater than six, based on the 2019 average.
- Self-employed workers registered in RETA, or in a mutual insurance company as an alternative system to RETA, who are partners in a company with its own legal personality (with a maximum of 3 partners). Companies with legal personality where the total number of partners and employees is greater than 6 (2019 average) may not apply for the grant.
- Partners of worker cooperatives who contribute to RETA or to a mutual insurance company as an alternative system to RETA, provided that the cooperative consists of a maximum of 3 working partners. Cooperatives where the total number of partners and non-partner employees is greater than 6 (2019 average) may not apply for the grant.

Autoocupació promotes “Llançadora, entrepreneurship grants,” an innovative project for maturing business ideas through the Dual Vocational Training program, subsidized by the Public Employment Service of Catalonia.
