The mentoring programme for entrepreneurs at risk of social exclusion, delivered in 2022 with support from the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, helped consolidate 82 self-employment ventures.
This year, the programme supported 105 entrepreneurs at risk of social exclusion who had recently launched 90 self-employment ventures. They received mentoring from 89 volunteers with business management experience across 23 provinces in 15 autonomous communities.
Mentoring took place over an initial six-month period, with the possibility of extension, through in-person or online sessions. During these sessions, volunteers helped entrepreneurs identify their challenges, reflect on how to address them, make decisions, implement them and evaluate the outcomes, fostering the development of their entrepreneurial skills, promoting their autonomy and helping consolidate their businesses.
Both participants and volunteers rated the programme very positively, giving it satisfaction scores of 8.9 and 8.6 out of 10, respectively.
The mentoring programme for entrepreneurs at risk of social exclusion received support from the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy through its call for grants for activities promoting self-employment, administered by the Directorate-General for Self-Employment, Social Economy and Corporate Social Responsibility.
