Grants for hiring people over 45

This call for applications from the Government of Catalonia and the SOC aims to incentivize companies to promote hiring and job creation for people over 45 who are unemployed, excluded from the labor market, and facing difficulties re-entering it. Beneficiary entities Natural or legal persons and communities of property with the capacity to hire staff, with a work center in Catalonia. Employment contracts with a minimum duration of 6 months and a maximum duration of 12 months are subsidized, except for the hiring of people with disabilities, which may be for a maximum of 18 months. The subsidized working day is between 50% and 100%. Target group
  • Unemployed people aged 45 or over.
  • Registered as unemployed job seekers (DONO) at the Public Employment Service of Catalonia for 6 months within the last 12 months.
  • They must not have provided services to any entity under an indefinite-term contract in the last 6 months.
Application deadline and procedure The deadline is November 20, 2021. Beneficiary entities must submit the grant application form and the attached documentation required within the form itself through Gencat Tràmits. You can find more information and process the application here.
