The CCAM opens a new line of grants for companies in the trade, services, crafts, and fashion sectors

The Consortium for Trade, Crafts, and Fashion (CCAM) of the Department of Business and Knowledge of the Generalitat de Catalunya is reopening a new call for grants in the fields of trade, services, crafts, and fashion with the aim of promoting and boosting Catalan companies in these professional sectors by fostering their competitiveness and quality.  

Deadlines and submission of applications

Companies and self-employed individuals wishing to apply for this new line of subsidies may submit their applications from July 8 until December 31, 2019, or until the call’s budget is exhausted. Applications can be submitted through the Canal Empresa of the Generalitat de Catalunya (http://canalempresa.gencat.cat), on the website of the Consortium for Trade, Crafts, and Fashion of Catalonia (http://ccam.gencat.cat), or on the website of the Department of Business and Knowledge (http://empresa.gencat.cat/ca/inici/).  

Grant beneficiaries

The beneficiaries of this line of subsidies are trade, service, fashion, and craft companies, as well as stalls in permanent and non-permanent municipal markets.

Eligible actions

Area 1: recovery of empty premises
  • The purchase, lease, or administrative concession of premises.
  • The use of shop windows in closed premises.
  • The continuity of the commercial enterprise.
  • The expansion of the sales area by annexing new premises.
Area 2: renovation of establishments
  • The renovation of establishments in permanent municipal market stalls.
  • The adaptation of non-permanent municipal market stalls (where the applicant proves ownership for at least the last 5 years).
  • The renovation of street-level shops that are at least 10 years old (where the applicant proves ownership for at least the last 10 years).
Area 3: “Click & Collect” systems
  • Installation of digitized collection point systems (purchase of lockers and/or cabinets with the corresponding software).
